I'm not sure you should be getting a PhD if you are asking this question the way you have.

Everyone knows it depends on specialty.

It's not like I am going to decide about what I hear here, but it will be nice to hear what people think when you have the two schools compared. I know that in the field that I want to focus in (NLP) the two schools are considered pretty good and present somewhat different approaches to the problems. That is why I asked to know the reasoning behind the preference.
