Hello All,

I am currently pursing masters in Bioinformatics and computational Biology at University of Delaware. I am planning apply for Phd in bioinformatics and computational biology. 

Kindly, please review my profile and Let me know if I have stand a chace being admitted.

GRE - 1200 (720 + 480 ) 
Toefl - No required
GPA - 3.8

Summer internship at Hoffmann-La Roche (Nutley , NJ)

Certifications:

Completed with statement of accomplishemnt:
Computing for data analysis (By Dr. Roger Peng -John Hopkins University)

In progress:
Experimental Genomce Science( By Dr. John Hogenesch - U Penn)

Network Analysis in systems Biology ( Dr. Avi Ma,yaan - Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai )

Bioinformatics Algorithms (Dr. Pavel Pavzner -UC SD ) 


Abstract Presented at Aquatic virus workshop 2013 ( It is very good conference in field of viruses ) as 1st author. Mostly this will be my masters thesis and will get paper published on this by next summer.

As part of curriculum have done 7 projects. 

Recommendations:
1 from Director : she is big shot in this field.
1 from associate professor : he is very well known ( Guy who is visiting Antarctica since last 25 years. )
1 from advisor : He is just starting his career .

SOP : will come with Decent SOP. 

Haven't finalized the final list but these are universities I have in mind:

University Of Delaware - I think i can convert to phd here anytime. so i will call it safest university.
