Hi,

Should I include the kind of research methods I want to use to study the subject I'm interested in?

Personally, I value and want to use all three methodologies (quantitative/qualitative/theory) (not necessarily all research methods, but I don't have enough research experience to reject specific methods). Most Political Science departments will place a heavier emphasis on quantitative, and my academic/work background demonstrate I have experience with this methodology.

Is it important to mention my interest in all methodologies? Or to emphasize my experience with each of them? Or will discussing my interests in and experiences with research methods just waste space?

Thanks,

Clair
