MSW programs in Massachusetts

I am trying to decide which schools to apply to in Boston and Mass in general. I am looking into Simmons, Smith and Boston college. I am currently a BSW student so I will be applying for advanced standing. Does anyone know about these programs or others in Mass and the advanced standing process?

It is difficult to answer this question without knowing more about your academic interests. Are you clinical or macro?

Hello, I attend Bridgewater's MSW program and they do offer advance standing. The program has a clinical focus is pretty intensive. There are a lot of opportunities here that I was not aware of prior to applying.  I love that the class sizes are small and every professor I have had so far has been wonderful. It's a smaller program than some of the other area schools and is fairly competitive since the cohort sizes are small. I love it here

Hey I applied to bu, but in bu you can't do advanced standing until you have finished field work/can hand in a complete field evaluation. Many fieldwork places go from sept to may, so you can't hand in a completed evaluation.

I don't think you understand. Lola probably can't do advanced standing because they don't have a BSW. Advanced standing is only for BSWs and allows them to complete an MSW program in one year full-time.
