Doctor of Modern Languages (DML) at Middlebury

I was wondering if anybody has heard anything about the program in the subject line. According to the program's site, it's the only program of its kind. It's completed only during summers, and it takes anywhere from 6 to 10 summers. It seems like there area few spots here and there that would require one to pay more than they need to.

I was very interested in this program when I first found out about it, but in inquiring about it from others in the language teaching field, they said it was primarily a way for a career public school teacher to get a doctorate during the summers so that they would get the pay bump that comes with having a doctorate.
