GradBound09 Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 I could really use any insight anyone is able to offer. I was accepted into both programs (no $ unfortunately) but I was wondering how Georgetown's SSP program ranks especially in comparison with American's School of International Service. I know they are two different programs, but any feedback on how they are perceived esp. in the career world is greatly appreciated!
polisciphd Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 Georgetown is currently ranked #1 overall for Int. Affairs Masters Degrees, followed by SAIS, Flethcer, GW, WW, and then SIS is like 7th (if memory serves correctly). But, if you feel more comfortable at American, then by all means go there. I have several friends who went there and have been quite successful.
GradBound09 Posted April 1, 2009 Author Posted April 1, 2009 Thank you for your help! I suppose the Security Studies program at Georgetown is also very good. I think I'm going to choose American, but I haven't committed just yet. Thanks again!
