Deliberate Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 If everything else in an application is submitted, but letters of recommendation come in late -- is this a deal breaker for schools? I'm thinking of applications like UChicago -- which are due in a few days (I just now realized).
NoSleepTilBreuckelen Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 It's okay if letters come in late. Some schools even say this on their applications - they know that recommenders are often other profs who are very busy right now. If it's between a a great late LOR and an on-time one from someone who doesn't know you that well or you haven't done reproach with, they'd much rather have the great, but late, LOR. Good luck philstudent1991 1
NoSleepTilBreuckelen Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Haha, just saw my computer autocorrected "research" to "reproach" in the above post - oops!
