ciao77 Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Hi all, I have a B.A. in International Relations, and after much soul searching, realized that I really want to pursue a career in psychology. Ideally, I would like to complete bachelor's level prerequisites in psychology, prior to applying to a masters program. I live in the Los Angeles area, and am not sure if there are post-bacchalaureate psych programs in California (ideally, southern california) that I could enroll in. Any information? Thoughts are much appreciated!
sowhat59 Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Hello! Sounds like we're in the same boat. I live in LA and am trying to change my career into Psy. Much like you, I don't have any pre-req done and I actually just posted a question on this forum about taking pre-req at community college. I don't know if it'd hurt the change of acceptance, but due to CA's budget cut, it seems almost impossible to go back to 4yr school to take psy pre req, unless you go to private school.... Have you found any info on this since you posted? Any help will be very much appreciated!
