EB000 Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 I am curious about who has heard anything back from NYC schools. I applied to Columbia in late Oct, and my final rec letter was in on Nov 11 so it's been about 4 weeks. I thought I applied pretty early (Dec 1 deadline) but I still haven't heard anything. I suppose 4-6 weeks is normal but I'm just wondering if other people have gotten decisions from them yet. NYU I applied to in early Nov and all of my stuff is turned in, but when I check my application status, 2 letters and my transcripts are not checked off as received...(I have already contacted them about 5 times regarding technical difficulties during the application process, did anyone else have issues with them?) Hunter I also applied to in early Nov and have yet to hear anything. Who has gotten decisions at this point?
jillchristine Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 This is normal for both of the schools. I also have my transcripts not checked off from NYU as received but an email was sent to me that my application is complete so I know everything is in (also I contacted someone about it and they confirmed). From what I've seen the earliest Columbia has sent out decisions is early February. I've found the 4-6 week waiting period is typically much longer, unfortunately!
