Video supplement?

Does the optional Video supplement section (in Emory's graduate application) have any weightage?

I'm not sure what you mean but having any weightage. I think they're looking for you to be able to speak clearly and concisely about past research and why you're interested in Emory. Communicating science is a huge issue. Perhaps that's the motive. I did the video and got accepted.
