haj Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 (edited) Hello, I'm applying for PhD programs(Economics) (fall 2014) should I expect an Interview ? if yes then what questions should I expect? I'm applying to: University of Oregon University of Utah Florida State University Indiana University- Bloomington I have a US passport as I was born there so im a citizen but lived out of the US most of my life.. so im applying as a citizen my bachelor degree was in economics 3.77 (out of the US) GRE from 2010 630 Q. (320v) Tofel 97 IBT. MA in Economics from University of South Florida with 3.58 gpa Also if it makes a difference I have a full scholarship from my country I know that usually other applicants have full scores in GRE and so on but do i have a chance in these schools? ferd Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 I think it's going to be very tough with those GRE scores. A PhD in Econ is very math heavy. Best of luck!
