UMass-Amherst or SUNY-Buffalo?

hey guys, i just got surprisingly informed that I got admited to UMass-Amherst M.A. and SUNY-Buffalo M.A.

though the news were still unofficial (thru e-mail by the secretary) I think it is true.

I know UMass- Amherst is indeed prestigeous, however, I do also consider SUNY-buffalo to be academically-superb in terms of research.

moreover, I love the courses Buffalo offers, more diverse.

what do you guys think? could you help me with it?

i was so released by the nightmare that I got rejected by Stony Brook and McGill. what a night.

I think it depends on what youre studying and who you might want to study with.... If you're looking at poetics, for example, get thee to Buffalo.

It seems like you prefer Buffalo; since they are MA programs, I assume they are both unfunded, but I don't know the different in cost between the two. I will say that I don't think UMass is so much more prestigious than Buffalo that you should select UMass on prestige alone.
