suprrupe05 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Good evening all, Although I am in my first semester of Grad School, I am forward planning for a future PhD or EdD program. While my Graduate School does not require a GRE, any legitimate PhD program I apply to most likely will. I am writing this to ask, for someone who is horrible with math, where to start from the absolute beginning for the Quantitative Reasoning section of the test. In my undergraduate studies, I took College Algebra, Statistics for Business and Economics and Safety Analysis and Quality Control (statistical process control). With these classes, I somehow "floated" through. No trig, calculus, geometry, and I don't remember anything from high school; I'm getting old. I am looking to apply to a Higher Education PhD or EdD. I guess my question is, what would you recommend to begin studying for this portion of the test from step 1? Thanks for the help!
Flandre Scarlet Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 I would start here: http://www.ets.org/gre/revised_general/prepare?WT.ac=grehome_greprepare_b_130807 On that page, scroll down to Math Review. It's review of all the concepts on the test.
