laurrun Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 So my school has updated online and it reads "decision made" and the second line reads "admit term: Fall 2014." Does this mean I was admitted or no?
laurrun Posted February 10, 2014 Author Posted February 10, 2014 Just email the department secretary? I never received much contact info.
fuzzylogician Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Sounds like you have been admitted, congrats! You could email the department secretary for clarification, don't worry about not having much prior contact with them. I imagine they should be contacting you with more information soon, if you have indeed been admitted. I'd make sure for my own peace of mind. A quick "hey my app now says this, what does it mean?" (appropriately worded, of course) should do it.
laurrun Posted February 10, 2014 Author Posted February 10, 2014 Still haven't heard anything. Emailed first thing this morning. I am beginning to worry that "admit term" just means the term I applied for.
zax Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 (edited) I saw your post in the History Fall 2014 Applicants thread and I'm in the exact same situation with Tennessee. I was thinking about emailing them too, but I wanted to check if you had heard anything back yet. Best of luck! Edited February 11, 2014 by zax
laurrun Posted February 11, 2014 Author Posted February 11, 2014 I emailed for a response and it was a no. Best of luck to you, though!

I was in the same boat and then last night a link to the official response from the grad admissions office was posted. Mine was an acceptance, but still no word from the department. Best of luck to everyone
