Dramaturgy MFA Interviews

Hello all!

 

Wondering if anyone has interviewed in the past (or this year already) for MFA's in Dramaturgy.  I got an interview at both Columbia and UMASS Amherst and am trying to find out what I might be asked.

 

Any advice???

I have an interview with UMass's dramaturgy program next week! I have only had one other interview, but it was fairly standard. Mostly they asked about what plays I was interested in, what type of work I want to do, etc.. There was one really cool question where they asked me if I was dramaturging a play that I'd mentioned while it was in development, what would I have recommended the playwright work on or change.

When is your UMass interview? Mine is the 4th, and I'll be in town that day and the day before. Anyway, I wish you luck!
