Hi all,

I've recently received word that I've been accepted to both Purdue and Buffalo for their PhD programs in English Literature. (My concentration is, broadly, nineteenth century American women's writing.) I should add that during the application process and after hearing word back from the schools, I have taken the time to look into the faculty, current graduate students, program requirements, etc.

I've also scanned the Forums on here (both English lit and Decisions, Decisions) but haven't been able to find much information about either program. I've also spent some time looking into rankings, etc, but I'm still not completely satisfied with the amount and type of information I've found.

Can anyone offer me any insight (especially if you attended either school) or opinions into choosing between these two programs?

Thank you!
