Schools that allow completing requirements in 3 years?

Sorry for the newbie question.

Does anyone know of schools that have the lowest time commitment. Some appear to have a 5 year minimum for Finance Ph.D. also the same for Accounting.

Are there any that allow completing the requirements in 3 years ?

Any Help will be greatly appreciated.

3 year phds are often the norm in european (esp british) schools ... so you might check those out.

For US programs, your professors will be thrilled if you are able to complete requirements in three years ... but it takes superhuman effort (i/e risk going crazy )
