rhetoricalpheasant Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 - Undergrad major: BS, Cell & Molecular Biology - 3.75 overall GPA, 3.6 science/math GPA - Two years undergrad research background in population genetics - Full-time job in area of genetics research - Taking General GRE in May 2014 - Applying to PhD programs Fall/Winter 2014 Should I take the Biology or Biochemistry GRE? And how many months should I give myself to study for this thing (considering that I have a full-time job)? I don't know anyone else who is taking/has taken either of these tests--any guidance would be very much appreciated!
bsharpe269 Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 I don't think that grad school will weigh one heavier than the other so I recommend looking at the content of both tests and taking whichever one you feel more comfortable with.
