soc112233 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Anyone care to share their Berkeley funding package? I know they vary and it might be nice to compare notes.
booksbooksbooks Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Would you care to share yours? Here's mine: 22k/year plus 2k each summer (total = 24k/year). First year fellowship. 5th year, completion fellowship (assuming normative time). Years 2-4, GSI/GSR requirements.
soc112233 Posted March 21, 2014 Author Posted March 21, 2014 Mine is the same. I wonder what the other packages were like..
smsteph Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Does anyone know if the JSP PhD program at the law school usually provides typical grad school funding (as opposed to law school funding, which doesn't really exist)
booksbooksbooks Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Does anyone know if the JSP PhD program at the law school usually provides typical grad school funding (as opposed to law school funding, which doesn't really exist) I have a friend who was just accepted to JSP so I can tell you that they do provide something like typical grad school funding for the PhD (although from what I can tell, maybe slightly less than typical political science / sociology PhD funding). For those who decide to do the joint PhD-JD route via JSP, I think they receive a significant discount on law school tuition but not a full remition.
