Berross Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 So I'm faced with one of those dilemmas. I'm an international student with a bachelor in EE. I got accepted to both above programs and have to decide on which to attend. My thoughts are as follows. Stanford: - more prestigious - more recognized internationally - more entrepreneurial Berkeley: - cheaper (tuition + $20k fellowship...) - smaller, more selective program Any thoughts?
Icydubloon Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 (edited) Berkeley. That's a lot of money they're giving you. Edited March 12, 2014 by Icydubloon
zaphyr Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Stanford gives you many opportunities and flexibility in tailoring your own selected program but costs $60k /year. Yet it pays off when one already has funds available and/or RA offers, sometimes they offer. I would rather Stanford, specially if your interests lean toward software. You could take CS courses too which add up to your strength. After all, I think all depend on your availble budget.
