Has anyone heard anything from CUNY graduate center educational psychology program?

I emailed the admissions department earlier this week. The woman that replied to me said admission decisions typically come in between early march-late april. guess we have to wait a few more weeks

I spoke to the admission department and I was told that they are currently doing interviews. Since I didn't get an invite for an interview, I am going to assume, my application has been rejected.

I've heard nothing, unfortunately... I've also seen no one posting about interviews or admittance, so I guess its possible they haven't started interviewing just yet or they aren't don't them all together? its going on two months with absolutely no correspondence. =(

 

I'm really nervous since this is the only program i applied to/want to attend

Silent on my end as well... Last year, someone posted acceptance around April 9th... I'm planning to call after April 9th...

You may want to call the department directly and ask for a timeline on decisions. Admissions will give a generic response.

I've only been in contact with the department. They are still reviewing.

I just received a generic rejection letter via email. So disappointed =(

I am sorry to hear your news. I can say that with changes over the past few years, they are accepting a fraction students than listed on the department's website for annual enrollment.

Where is it listed on the websites?

Under academic culture, https://www.gc.cuny.edu/Page-Elements/Academics-Research-Centers-Initiatives/Doctoral-Programs/Educational-Psychology/Program/Learning,-Development,-and-Instruction, they list the program as relatively small, accepting 16-21 students per year. I, however, was told they are accepting 6. After tomorrow, the school is on Spring Break until Apr 22nd. Hopefully, since at least one decision was communicated today, the others will follow soon.
