tunedguitargrl Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Has anyone heard back from NYU SCPS? I applied Feb 1, and on the website it said we should have heard back by March 15… Any idea what's going on?
roma61 Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 (edited) Yeah, I applied January 31, and thought we'd hear last week. I haven't heard anything from them either, not sure what the deal is. I think I've read on other forums that they're slow with decisions, but still, it's a little annoying when they said we'd know by March 15 and then didn't deliver. So, I'm in the same boat, but I'll probably wait until April before emailing the admissions staff to find out app status. Edited March 20, 2014 by roma61
cbrody Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I applied to NYU SCPS for the MS in integrated marketing and January 22nd. I still havent heard back. But I emailed an admissions officer yesterday and apparently some applications are in the final stages on review and can expect a decision in the next few days. Good luck.
tunedguitargrl Posted March 25, 2014 Author Posted March 25, 2014 Just heard back! 10 days after they said we'd be notified. Thanks guys!
Golddoor Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Same here, I completed and submitted the application on 31st Jan and still haven't heard back. Its just annoying since their websites states Mar 15 for a decision. I emailed admissions and all i got were crickets. Anyone who submitted on 31st Jan or later hears back please post.
roma61 Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Ok, so finally have an admissions decision. Are you guys thinking of going? Wondering about the school's reputation. I just kind of assumed saying NYU would sound good to potential employers, but does anyone know about the actual reputation of the school in the international affairs arena? I suppose the better people to ask would be alumni/current students, but hey, we're all in this together here.
tunedguitargrl Posted April 28, 2014 Author Posted April 28, 2014 It's a good question, I was wondering the same thing…
1oak Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Hi Guys, I got my acceptance for the MS in Integrated Marketing program around 3 weeks back and I had applied in mid Jan. Haven't yet accepted the program since I am contemplating about the reputation of the program and also the diversity of the student body. On the one hand, from reading the literature on the website and brochures etc it seems to be a solid course. However, I can't find any validation of the program on the internet in general. Decisions Decisions...!
