Hi everyone,

Having heard back from all the schools I applied to, I am deciding between:

1. University of Chicago Committee on International Relations - MA in International Relations (1/3 tuition)

2. UCSD IR/PS - Masters in Pacific Int'l Affairs (full tuition)

3. George Washing Elliott School - MA in International Studies (waiting for funding info)

  • Also got into AU SIS. My understanding is that Elliott and SIS are quite close in comparison. Any outstanding differences I should know of?

Would love to get some input on the pros/cons for each and which you would choose. Any feedback from alumni greatly appreciated as well!

I have not fully decided whether or not I want to head into an academic or policy career, but am leaning toward the latter and would love to do development work abroad in the future.

TIA!

Well, just heard back from GW Elliott and $0 funding unfortunately. Still considering it for the program and development concentration, brand name in IR, and the DC locale. But worth it over CIR or IRPS?
