What Do I Do?

I got into 1 school but i still need to hear back from 6 other schools. Do I need to send i don't know at least a thank you letter to the director of grad studies to say thank you for admitting me or say nothing until april 15. this waiting is killing me and i feel so rude saying nothing because i'm really glad some place finally said yes. please advise. thank you.

Generally the advice I see here is send a thank you email, and to generally be excited as well as say that you are still weighing your options and will be in touch with them when you have made a decision.  Don't say nothing, that's a bad practice.

ok just sent the thank you letter. hope it wasn't too late to send it. they told me on wednesday march 19th lol
