youngwolf Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 I have been confused on the decision. obviously UCSD high reputation, UCI better placement for work. I was told the master program major in statistics of San diego is purely theoretical. however the one in UCI is submissive in CS school. Would it make any difference in job seeking?
kcyc Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 UCSD still. UCSD should still have applied stats classes. I suppose you can do reserach/internship to shore up the practical application aspect of your stats background.

How is the employment status of these two schools? I still cannot persuade myself giving up the program related to Computer Science. thank you in advance.
