Hello All,

I am unable to decide between the two programs - CMU's Masters in Information Technology Strategy or Georgia Tech's Masters in Computer Science.

If I go to CMU, I will be choosing the Data Analytics track.  However, I am unable to zero it down to one of the programs.

Offcourse one evaluation index is that MITS program is expensive ($75k for the program) plus no summer internship opportunites.

I have no particular interes in Data analytics but I would not mind pursuing it for the brand name of CMU and its rank. Also, I discussed it with the staff there that I might be allowed to take other CS courses from the School of Computer Science at CMU.

GaTech has its own advantage - Core CS Master's degree, flexible options.

So should I go after the brand and rank of CMU and overlook the program? Or MITS is one great program too?

After completing my masters, I see myself as a software engineer (since I have no experience with Data engineering right now), getting interviewed for Secure coding (Information Security), Algorithms (problem solving) and maybe be Information Retrieval (Data analytics).

Any help/suggesstions/opinions will really help!

Thanks!
