DupontCircle Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 I was wondering if any current or former students had suggestions on some prep work before school starts. I'm going to have a good amount of free time over the summer and wondered if there were specific things/skills I could be working on -- brushing up on excel, getting back into the habit of writing regularly etc. I'm trying to think of things beyond the normal language skills and math/econ prep work. Thanks!
nelsonizer Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Play around with some academic organization/citation/notetaking programs.http://chronicle.com/blogs/profhacker/zotero-vs-endnote/33157
leon32 Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 My suggestion would, beyond any rudimentary preparation stuff with languages and quant, take advantage of the free time because once school starts you are going to have very little of it. GameTheory 1
