mkw2675 Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 I've searched throughout the forums for any information on the University of Nevada - Reno M.Eng Environmental Engineering program, but I have found nothing. I realize this is probably because, as of 2014, it is ranked #129, so I'm sure many people here are qualified for top 50 schools. Their Env. Eng. program, however, is ranked roughly #58. Would anyone know anything about the program? I am definitely not as qualified nor as impressive as many of the members of this site, so I am looking at schools in the #125 and lower range. I have a 3.1 GPA, 161V/149Q/4.5 AWA, which I know is not impressive, but I will be taking the GRE again. I'm actually taking calculus III and differential equations to bring up my GPA, and because my undergrad is in environmental biology. The best thing that I can say is I have three years experience working as a biologist, so I will have good references and research experience. However, the program site does state "minimum 3.0 GPA and 1100 GRE," so I technically qualify. Does anyone have any advice on this or other schools near or below this ranking? I would really appreciate any advice you could give, since I haven't found any good insights yet. Sorry in advance for being another obnoxious person who posts their stats looking for advice. Thanks in advance!
