skyoyo Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 hi y'all, I am currently taking a Master's course in Seoul, South Korea. I am in my second semester right now. But I applied for a phd program at National University of Singapore and I got accepted!! I am thinking of just quitting the master's course I am taking right now and leave for Singapore. Does anybody have opinions about this? My GRE is not high, my GPA was not high as well, and I did my bachelor's in Seoul. Thanks you in advance!
Flandre Scarlet Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Burning bridges. But, I'd take the PhD offer.

Flandre Scarlet Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 (edited) Let me correct that, I guess you aren't burning bridges since you are just withdrawing from the program. I'd take the PhD offer because PhD > masters in almost every way. On top of that, you're probably not going back to your current school after you get your PhD, so it wouldn't matter if you leave.
