What are Good Research/Dissertation Topics for IE

I am doing my Ph.D. in IE and need to start my research soon but i am confused on the research area. i like operations research or optimization and parallel programming, supply chain, project management but these are general major areas, i need something specific.

 

any advise on future hot research areas on IE, operations research????
