little art tornado Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 any suggestions on how to continue to engage schools/faculty after being rejected without being annoying? the obvious goal would be to have an advocate at that school next year when they're looking at applications.
Dreams Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 any suggestions on how to continue to engage schools/faculty after being rejected without being annoying? the obvious goal would be to have an advocate at that school next year when they're looking at applications. Arrange a discussion with the program coordinator either in person or on the phone to see what the weak points were in your application, and how you can position yourself to be stronger for next year. Many are willing to share this information with you. You may want to contact a few of the faculty members you are interested in working with to ask them for some suggestions of relevant literature to read to keep up on things. Other than that, I don't think there is much else you can do. You may want to work on producing an article or other artistic work before the next round of applications as well. Good luck.
