Levon Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 I'm from Armenia and I work in the central bank of Armenia in the Department of monetary policy(Macroeconomic Forecasting). My bachelors degree is in marketing at the State University of economics(Calculus 1, 2, Statistics 1,2, macro 1,2, micro 1,2, finance,). My GPA is a bit low (80%) because of both a 2-year compulsory military service and a fact that I had to work part-time to pay for my education.I have also taken advanced courses in our research and trainig center(real analysis, dynamic optimization, mathematical statistics, advanced Macro, advanced Micro). I have recently written a working paper on monetary policy. GRE scores are very high. Letters of recommendation are also good (One from the head of the university, one from a colleague-supervisor, one from a Math PHD who taught me). I am only 23 Can anyone help me with the decision whether to apply to LSE EME and Oxford Mphill in Economics or no? Thank you.
