Is this a problem?

I recently took GRE and scored verbal-144 and quant-168. I would like to do masters in Computer Science. I will take TOEFL in a month. Is low verbal score a hinderance?

Go to the website of the schools you are interested in.  Click the tab/section pertaining to admission and see if there are available statistics, cut offs or averages for GRE performance.

 

Otherwise, yes it can be a hindrance sometimes, sometimes not and sometimes it is entirely irrelevant.
