jvals27 Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 I just wrote my GRE a few hours ago and got a verbal score of 164 and a quantitative score of 156 (no analytical writing score yet). I expected to do a bit better in quantitative, but I also expected to do a bit worse in verbal. I recognize this may not be up to snuff for the Ivy leagues or anything, but I am looking at applying to Industrial/Organizational Psychology programs in Canada (of particular interest is Waterloo's). Is this kind of score (overall 320) sufficient in similar fields? I expect other aspects of my application to be fairly strong (GPA about 3.9, extensive research experience, good reference letters). Let me know what you think! I'm thinking that as long as I get a a 4 or 4.5 on writing that I won't rewrite the test.
