Elliot School Study Abroad?

Any other incoming Elliot Students considering one of their study abroad programs? I am planning on taking advantage of their study abroad in Beirut this upcoming Spring and was wondering what my best option would be for housing in DC. Should I look for a short-term rental (Sep-Jan) or try to get a year long lease and then find someone to take over my lease?

Check out Craigslist--you will have no problem finding a temporary, most likely furnished arrangement from Sept-Jan. There are always students studying abroad that need someone to sublet. However, if you need to move alot of personal belongings and furniture in Sept--then it might be a better bet to sign a year lease and have someone sublet your place while you are gone. Either way--you shouldn't have a problem!
