rlywrmn Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 In high school I received college credits for Spanish (from a university) as well as Intro to Psychology (from a community college). I know when I apply to grad schools I need to send transcripts from every institution I've received credits from. My question is do I have to have those specific institutions send the transcripts to where I'm applying, or can they be sent to me and then I send them? Thanks.
GandalfTheGrey Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 You'll probably have to order the trascripts to be sent directly to the schools you are applying for. Check with the websites/admissions officers for individual schools to be sure. rlywrmn 1
perpetuavix Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Check with the places you're applying before you send those transcripts. I had a handful of credits from two other schools, but I ended up not needing to send those transcripts to every school, because my undergrad institution listed them on my transcript already. A few schools still wanted all of them, but some said it was acceptable since they were listed (you might need to send a scanned official transcript to verify if this would work for you). rlywrmn 1
