Victomancini Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Hey all. I am interested in applying to both MA and PhDs in I/O psychology. From my research it seems like most programs are geared toward students who want a career in academia, but I am planning on entering industry after grad school. I have a fairly strong application with lots of research experience. I am particularly interested in topics related to well-being. Can you please give me some idea of the top programs that are geared toward people who want to go into industry?
Munashi Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 For the PhD level, you won't find programs that are geared specifically toward industry - but you will find programs that are "balanced" between academia and industry, and that are made to prepare you for success in either area. Penn State and Colorado State come to mind off the top of my head.
