Hello Folks:

I'm late to this forum but glad that I managed to join now at this crucial point. I would like to get an opinion from y'all on which would be a better option for doin an MS in Computer Engineering (specializing in Digital VLSI) - Drexel (with Dean's fellowship - tuition waiver of ~$9K/year) or University of California at Santa Cruz.

Though Drexel is ranked better on USNEWS than UCSC, the latter is way more selective and the low class strength translates to good funding opportunities later during your program. After mailing a few Prof's at UCSC, all say they're full with PhDs for the RA but say chances are there after couple of quarters. For now, Drexel's offer with fellowship is tempting me.

Help me decide. Thanks all!

And sorry for multi-posting.
