Onsemiro Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Hi, I am an international student studying in the US applying to Statistics PhD/MS programs in US and Canada. I can see all of the institutions that I am planning on applying state that they exempt the TOEFL requirement for international applicants who received or will receive a bachelor's degree in English speaking countries. I was wondering if it is general tendency to offer TAships to the international applicants with a degree from the US? Or should I take the TOEFL test and submit it if I want to get a TA position? Thank you.
geographyrocks Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 I'm betting that this is school specific. If they don't mention it on the website, call the school and ask. Every school does things a little differently.
