Mistis Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 (edited) Hi guys, I am an international applicant thinking about applying to this program in a year or two. I searched around the Internet but failed to find admitted student profile or stats. Would someone familiar with this program mind to tell me whether I would have a chance of getting in? My stats: - Started college in Australia - Transferred to U.S. in second year - Took 3 gap years and studied abroad/participated in visiting program for a few semesters in different places - Have undergrad transcripts from 6 schools, 3 are ivy, 1 is top U.K. school (oxbridge) - Graduated from an ivy with 3.8 gpa - Currently enrolled in Harvard's MBA program as 1st year student - 6 year experience as advisor of an education-related NGO, part time basis - 4 year experience running an online education company, part time basis I would like to apply to this program as soon as I graduate from HBS, but I am not sure whether my background matches with the type of people they're looking for. I want to pursue a specilization in entrepreneurship as it exactly fits with my long-term career goal. Being able to pursue a doctoral degree online is also a big plus because people in my country are obsessed with doctors, so getting one at an early stage would make my career much easier. However, it seems this program is more geared towards those who have tons of relevant work experience. To be honest, I have zero full-time work experience, would this make me an automatic-ding? Also, would my complicated background in undergrad education be a negative factor for a program like this? Any inputs are appreciated! Edited September 29, 2014 by Mistis
