Guest Julie Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 I apply to a Master's degree in Political Science at Columbia. Three weeks ago, I asked them when the decision will be mad. No response at all! Last week, I asked them when the decision will be made. Two days later, they replied to me: No decision has been made yet on your application. Just one sentence. Yesterday, I asked them when when when. They told me: Decisions may not be made until late May or June. Though I have been admitted by NYU, the decision of Columbia still has great influence on me. Do I have to take it for granted that this is the way what that kind of "prestigious, outstanding, and top school will do?
Guest kan Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 I applied to same program..MA pol sci columbia! And I emailed them yesterday too. When I first called them in the end of April, they told me the dicision may be made early May. Then, yesterday they sent me email saying the same thing you heard. I am sick and tired of waiting....! I didn't expect that because when I applied they told me that decisions are made even before deadline....! hmmm! good to hear there's somebody having same situation.
