krasnopeski Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Hello, This is my first time in these forums. I am posting this as I am a bit concerned about my future prospects. I currently attend UC Riverside, and I am a junior with a current undergrad GPA of 2.6. I am now beginning to take upper division courses, and I am determined to raise my GPA as high as possible by time I graduate. For DPT (doctor of physical therapy) programs, the minimum undergrad/prerequisite course GPA required is 3.0. I was wondering, if I got my GPA up to the minimum 3.0 and in my remaining upper division coursework I got an overall 3.0+ GPA in all those, as well as taking some GPA buffing courses, in addition with pretty decent GRE scores and a solid extra-curricular resume and letters of recommendation, would I have a good chance at being accepted into these physical therapy programs? Some I am looking at are CSUN, CSULB, Cal State Sacramento, WesternU of Health Sciences. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
