So I contacted a potential supervisor in a Canadian uni yesterday on phone to discuss possible graduate supervision. He told me to send an email with my profile so that we can discuss. He hasn't replied my email since. When do you guys think I should send him a gentle reminder or call him. P.S. I have noticed he's very busy and doesn't check his mails regularly. Need your advice guys!

You only emailed him yesterday? Slow down. He probably has a million things to do, and a potential future student is unlikely to be at the top of his priority list.

If you haven't heard anything in a week, then send a short, polite reminder by email.
