ATLeducator Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Hi, all! I am entertaining the possibility of applying to Georgia State's MA in economics program. I had a question about the GRE. I took the GRE back in June of 2012. My scores were 158 (V), 153 (Q), and 5.5 (AW). I know graduate economics program prefer higher scores on the quantitative section, but I was curious if it was worth it to retake the test when there is no guarantee of a score increase. I already have a master of arts in education from the University of Florida, so I'm hoping this helps prove to the admissions committee that I am able to handle the rigors of graduate education. I know there are many other variables that affect admissions decisions; however, I am hoping to get some feedback from those who retook the test. I would also like to receive feedback from those who applied specifically to this program. Thank you.
