RP15 Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 So I managed to obtain an internship with Intel Corporation in a research and development lab for next summer. Is this worth putting on a resume / statement of purpose ? I didn't even start it yet.. However, I will be working on a topic that pertains to my interests Thanks!
TakeruK Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 If it's a confirmed thing and it's related to what you are applying for and you know the dates won't conflict with the school you are applying to, then sure, you should mention it! I would put it on my CV as a future item and briefly discuss your excitement of starting this internship in your SOP.
biisis Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Standard conventions in my part of the world let you indicate future/anticipated items on your resume by writing them all in italics. Make sure you've got the future date clearly indicated, and then you're golden!
