Hi, I recently applied to the MCERT program for elementary education at UMD. I was curious to know if anyone knows what the acceptance rate or applicant pool size is for this program in particular, or people that have applied before.

I have been wondering that too. I got into MCERT as well as Teachers College at Columbia University. From my research, it seems like the acceptance rate isn't the strongest metric to go off of, and some of these teacher training programs don't even disclose them. I would say a better thing to consider is job placement rates after program completion. MCERT places most of its graduates in teaching positions before the start of the school year, or at least that's what I have been told.
