Hi, I'm planning to apply for MS/PhD in Chemical Engineering - Fall 2015. Given below is my profile.
 
Academics:
Undergraduate college: NIT Allahabad
Department: Chemical Engineering
CGPA: 7.39
Department Topper: 9.06
Backlogs: 0
12th Std. CBSE : 80%
10th Std. CBSE: 89%
 
GRE 316; Quant-162 (83%); Verbal-154 (63%) ; AWA- 3.5 (38%)
TOEFL - result awaited.
 
Work Experience : 
- Working in an HPCL-Mittal Energy Ltd. Oil Refinery since June-2014 (1.5 Yrs so far)
- Did summer training project at JK Lashmi Cement
 
Final Year Project : Metal ion removal from Industrial Effluent Waste Water using Biosorption (Wood Apple Shell)
 
Extra Curriculars: 
- Have won in a number of cultural and technical events held at inter-college level. 
- Have coordinated several events as well at college level. 
 
Fields of interest : Process Engineering, modelling and simulation, Energy.
 
I would love to go for PhD but I dont know if I will get it with my profile.

I am applying for next fall as well. Which ones have you applied to till now ? 

 

I am considering canada in my list as well. will apply to UBC and Alberta
