akihiro239 Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Hi, guys. I'm an international student who's applying for a graduate program with a January 15th deadline. I'm taking a TOEFL iBT on December 13th and a GRE on December 15th, and my concern is whether the scores will arrive by the deadline (I can take tests only on these two days). I guess ETS is going to send my scores via mail, but there are four major holidays between my test dates and the deadline: Eve, Christmas, end of the year, New Year's... Do you think I can make it?
grad_wannabe Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 As far as the GRE goes, you'll be fine. Scores usually take about 10 days. There might be delays with the holidays, but admissions offices are understanding about all the documentation coming in a few days late.
akihiro239 Posted November 19, 2014 Author Posted November 19, 2014 Thanks for your response. Their website states that official score reports have to arrive by the deadline and will not be considered complete without them. Do you still think admission offices will understand about the documents coming in late?
Applemiu Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 (edited) How many schools are you applying to? Just make sure you send out your four GRE scores right away. I don't remember how it works with the TOEFL. Anyway don't worry, they will arrive on time. Edited November 19, 2014 by Applemiu
