Nikki Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 I'm spending the summer "working" as a research assistant to gain some new skills and research experience in prepartion for the coming application cycle. I'm signed up to take a graduate class on war and revolution in the fall, but now I maybe have the opportunity to do some more research with a professor (or perhaps two). Unfortunetely, I can't do both because of my job, so I'm not sure which to pick. Should I stick with the grad class? Or should I do the research and get some additional experience?
misterpat Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Depends. The class might give you another letter, since you probably can already get one from the prof you are doing the RA for over the summer. If you can get a new and improved WS out of the class, it might be worth it. Also, do you have any graduate classes under your belt already? Tough call.
