SOP Format acceptable or not?

hi friends,

I am yet to send my SOP to universities (MS Mech). The format in which I have written the SOP is little unusual. In order to present the SOP, so that it does not look distorted, I have created paragraphs like:


Who am I

Why mechanical

Why MS and why do I want to get admit in that University

Acads, Goals etc


Let me mention that I have written the headings in the SOP and then explained it in detail topic wise.
For the country who follow standard rules, will this fraying away from standard structure make them not notice my SOP? I showed it to my seniors and they actually happened to like it since it is well structured and comes in a flow.

Friends your experience and suggestion is valuable, so do reply if I should stick to the standard format or go ahead with the unusual yet structured thingmentioned above?
